Craftedtrlight provides professional landscape design services tailored to each client's specific needs. Due to the customized nature of our services, our return and cancellation policies are designed to protect both clients and our business while ensuring fair treatment for all parties.

Return Period

Due to the customized nature of our landscape design services, returns and cancellations are subject to specific timeframes:

  • Consultation services: Cancellation must be requested within 24 hours of scheduled consultation to receive a full refund
  • Design services: Cancellation may be requested within 7 days of contract signing, subject to fees for any completed work
  • Materials: Unopened, unused materials may be returned within 7 days of delivery, subject to restocking fees
  • Installation services: Cancellation must be requested at least 48 hours before scheduled installation start date

Return Conditions

Returns and refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Materials must be in original, unopened condition with all packaging intact
  • Valid proof of purchase or service agreement must be provided
  • All return requests must be submitted in writing to our contact email
  • Services must not have been substantially completed before cancellation request
  • Returned materials must show no signs of damage, use, or wear

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are handled as follows:

  • Defective or damaged items: We cover all return shipping costs
  • Returns due to client error or change of mind: Client is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
  • For local clients, items may be returned to our physical location to avoid shipping costs

Return shipping costs will be estimated and communicated before processing the return. Refunds will be issued minus return shipping costs where applicable.

Return Process

To initiate a return or cancellation, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us via email or phone to request a return authorization
  2. Provide your service agreement number, order details, and reason for return
  3. Receive return authorization and instructions from our team
  4. Package items securely in original packaging if applicable
  5. Ship items to our designated return address or schedule a pickup if local
  6. Wait for inspection of returned items
  7. Receive refund confirmation once items are inspected and approved

Return processing typically takes 5-10 business days from receipt of returned items. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10-14 business days after approval.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items and services are non-returnable:

  • Custom-ordered or made-to-order materials designed specifically for your project
  • Items that have been installed or used in your landscape
  • Live plants, unless they are defective or dead upon delivery
  • Fees for services that have been substantially completed
  • Consultation fees once services have been provided
  • Items that have been damaged due to client misuse or negligence
  • Special order items that cannot be resold

Service Cancellation

Clients may cancel landscape design services at any time by providing written notice to Craftedtrlight. Cancellation terms and any applicable fees will be detailed in individual service agreements. Generally:

  • Cancellations made before design work begins may be subject to a consultation fee
  • Cancellations made during the design phase may be subject to fees for completed work
  • Cancellations made after installation begins are subject to fees for all completed work and materials ordered

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders for materials and services may be cancelled under the following conditions:

  • Orders cancelled before processing begins: Full refund available
  • Orders cancelled after processing but before shipment: Refund minus processing fees
  • Orders cancelled after shipment: Subject to return policy conditions and restocking fees
  • Custom orders: Cannot be cancelled once production begins

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellation of services will be governed by the terms outlined in individual service agreements.

Refund Procedure

Refunds are processed according to the following procedure:

  1. Submit a refund request in writing with supporting documentation
  2. Our team reviews the request and verifies eligibility based on return policy terms
  3. Receive approval or denial notification within 5 business days
  4. Return items if required, following return process guidelines
  5. Items undergo inspection upon receipt
  6. Refund amount is calculated, minus applicable fees
  7. Refund is processed to original payment method within 10-14 business days
  8. Receive refund confirmation via email once processed

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the terms outlined in individual service agreements. Generally:

  • Consultation fees are typically non-refundable once services have been provided
  • Design fees may be partially refundable if cancellation occurs before design work is substantially completed
  • Installation deposits may be refundable if cancellation occurs before materials are ordered, subject to service agreement terms
  • Fees for completed work are generally non-refundable

Material Returns

Landscape materials including plants, hardscape materials, and installation supplies are custom-ordered for each project. Returns and exchanges are subject to:

  • Unopened, unused materials may be eligible for return within 7 days of delivery, subject to restocking fees
  • Custom-ordered materials are generally non-returnable unless defective
  • Materials that have been installed are non-returnable
  • Live plant warranties are subject to separate terms provided at time of purchase

Warranty and Guarantee

Craftedtrlight stands behind the quality of our landscape design and installation work. We provide warranties as follows:

  • Workmanship is guaranteed for one year from completion date, covering defects in installation
  • Plant replacement guarantees vary by plant type and are detailed in service agreements
  • Hardscape installations carry warranties specific to materials used and installation methods
  • Warranties are subject to proper maintenance and care as specified in service agreements

General Legal Requirements

This Return Policy is governed by applicable consumer protection laws and regulations. Key legal requirements include:

  • Compliance with federal and state consumer protection laws
  • Fair and transparent return and refund practices
  • Availability of dispute resolution mechanisms for consumer complaints
